Learn about the project

VR4T - Virtual Reality for Tourism is a European initiative designed to introduce professionals to the world of VR technology and its possibilities in the tourism sector.

Our goal is simple:
To offer an accessible, beginner-friendly starting point that helps you understand what VR is, why it matters, and how it might shape your career in tourism - whether you’re a tour guide, trainer, educator, tour operator, or any other tourism-related professional.
We believe that by giving people the basics - the language, concepts, and examples - we’re preparing them to confidently explore more advanced applications of VR in the future.

No tech background required.
Just curiosity and an open mind.

Why you should care about VR?

Because it’s already transforming industries - and tourism is already there.
VR is immersive, interactive, and impactful. And it’s cool.

We're here to show you what it can do - and why knowing the basics gives you a head start in a fast-changing world.
